Rebecca & Marcell's Wedding

Capturing the Elegance of Rebecca & Marcell’s Special Day at Thornton Manor

Combining elegance with a clean modern style, Rebecca and Marcell beamed as they enjoyed their special day with friends and family at the beautiful Thornton Manor on The Wirral.

The contrast of the manor’s classic dark wood and the happy couple’s crisp white decor, was the perfect combination for creating a truly breathtaking celebration. Flix’n’Pix photographers Adam and Matt were joined by cinematographer’s Joe and Craig, and PhotoBooth assistant Lauren.

The team were on hand to help the beautiful couple and their excited guests document the stunning surroundings, and create memories to cherish for years to come!

Meeting Rebecca and Marcell for their joy-filled engagement shoot

Before the big day, our team joined Rebecca and Marcell for a relaxed engagement shoot, helping us to get to know the couple and the types of shots they would like to capturing on the big day.

Surrounded by the lush greenery of Fletcher Moss Park, Didsbury, and lit by the bright August sunshine, we caught a few private moments to perfectly encapsulate the excitement and joy of their engagement.

Capturing every detail of the day

A truly memorable day is made up of smaller, sentimental details that we strive to chronicle for our elated clients. That’s why we made sure to discreetly record the hustle, bustle and nervous excitement of the bride and groom preparing for the big day.

We made sure to allow the morning unfold naturally, letting the bridal party enjoy their time together, getting their hair and makeup done by Katie Harrison and Julie Mac before the ceremony was due to start.

From putting on the all important dress, beautifully made by Essense of Australia and Angelica Bridal in Islington, to slipping on her silver Jimmy Choo’s, Agent Provocateur garter and Brittan hair piece. We were there to capture all the private and emotional moments behind the scenes!

Not to leave out the groom on his special day, we wanted to capture the nervous energy that buzzed around him and his groomsman as they waited for the ceremony to start. Adorned in his blue, tailored suit by Jack Bunneys and perfectly polished brown brogues, the groom looked stylish and smart waiting to see his beautiful bride.

A grand, yet intimate ceremony

The ceremony was held in Thornton Manor’s main reception room. Lined with cream chairs and twinkling lanterns adorning the isle, the room created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and classic wedding ceremony.

As the ceremony transitioned into the evening meal, the guests took their seats to enjoy delicious food, surrounded by beautiful bouquets of white roses, provided by Red Floral Architecture and delicately designed menu cards from Sweet Ink Design.

Smiling guests relaxed as speeches were made and stories were shared. The golden champagne flowed and the delicious gourmet food by Chapman Holmes, went down a treat with adults and children alike. Our team made sure to capture every moment, so the happy couple could look back and relive the day time and time again.

Photo Booth fun

As the night fell, the fireworks began, sparklers were lit and it was time for some photo booth fun!

Using our high-tech photo booths, the bride, groom and their excited family and friends jumped in to get a few silly snaps from the night. Donning various props, the guests enjoyed making memories all their own and playing with the many features provided by the booth!

The music from Sully & Co Band provided the perfect soundtrack for the evening celebration. The dance floor was soon filled by jumping, dancing and joyous laughter, as everyone let loose, enjoying the remainder of the amazing day.

We’re so happy that we got to share this truly amazing day with Rebecca and Marcell. From documenting their early morning preparation to letting loose once the formalities were over and done.

We hope the happy couple have a happy and healthy future together as husband and wife and we’re sure we’ll get to enjoy many more celebrations with them!
